Comments: IMHO, your-site fills the niche in between the free hosts like Yahoo, etc., and the more expensive $50/month hosts. Your-site isn't for everyone. It has worked for me very well over the last 2 years. I have 3 domains there right now.
If you want a good, inexpensive non-ecommerce host with excellent options for the price - then go for it. They have month to month and 3-month rates - you don't have to get locked in for a year.
If you want a full featured ecommerce site - they aren't the best choice. I use them for a couple groups that I belong to and didn't want to deal with the problems associated with the free hosts.
I have never had a problem with email, but others have. The forum does have a few compaints, but most forums do. At least this host acutally has a forum and the techs do read and reply as best as they can.
I've never had any unplanned downtime with my web site or ftp problems.
I've been told from a tech that they are planning on implementing an ecommerce web solution/package in the next few months - I guess we'll see how that goes. I'm moving one of my web sites to another provider that has better ecommerce options.

Comments: I've used Your-Site for two years, and in that time my email has given me error messages about half the time I check it. The forums at this host are filled with customer complaints about the lousy email service, but it has never been fixed. I would NOT use Your-Site for a business Web site.

Comments: Your-Site is a joke. Just surf to their website and you will see how slow and horrible their service is. I am only half way through my 1-yr pre-paid service with them but am going to move my domain and throw out the money...it takes on average 30-60 seconds for a simple page with graphics to load, as they are riddled with frequent problems. user message boards show all suffer the same. Mail is also often disrupted, and ftp sessions frequently drop.

There are hosting services that charge 5-10 times what Your-Site.Com does for half the performance (or even worse). There are few companies in any field that I endorse so wholeheartedly.
