Photobucket is probably one of the most widely known and used photo hosting site. They have been around for several years and become a great portal for people to share their photos, videos, and albums with all their friends and family around the world. There is no fee to join Photobucket. By joining their site you are able to post about 10,000 pictures. Videos typically take a little more storage room than pictures so if you are posting videos then that number will be a bit smaller. Once you store your pictures on Photobucket, if you give the link to others, they can view them via the Internet from anywhere in the world. It is much safer to store your pictures with a company like Photobucket than in a closet or a photo album or even on your own computer. By storing lots of photos and videos on your computer it will slow down the speed in which your computer can load, whereas if you store them online you can have access at any time from anywhere without the worry of bogging down your computer.
