WordPress is one of the most popular free blog hosting companies. Thier free blog accounts are very simple and easy-to-use, allowing customers of all computer experience to create their own blog, and have their own little piece of the web. WordPress is very user friendly which allows people with basic computer skills the ability to create a blog. With 3GB of file storage it is possible to store about 2,500 pictures. You can also upload and add videos to your blog. Most personal users, or small businesses, will not come anywhere close to using the maximum amout of free space allowed. Large businesses, or anyone else needing more space, have the option to pay minimal prices for additional space. WordPress has over 75 themes you can use to create your blog, or if you are CSS saavy you can also customize your blog. You can also choose from over 50 languages. Their stats system allows you to track the traffic to your blog. WordPress is also very good about tracking spammers and protecting their customers from getting a bunch of spam. You can have as many blogs as you want, and up to 35 users on any free account. If you are a large company or family and want unlimited authors on your blog you can pay a small fee to allow that. Free blog accounts typically require that you allow WordPress to put small ads on your site. Once again, for a very small fee you can get the ads removed.
