04/12/2005 - rating: 5 - by: Otto Fernandez
I just read the review stating that jumpline is known for its quality support and their excellent hosting. After having the VDS500 for over a year and almost 2 years of being their customer, I can truly back the fact that they have excellent hosting. As for the customer service, I will give it a 1 out of 10. Along the way I tried to get support of how to set up a phpp based forum, they just didn't know how to do it... Recently I wanted to cancel the account. They have recurring fee's, so I e-mailed them asking about the procedure to cancel. That was 3 weeks before my account would expire. They said do it before it expires, otherwise it will charge you again for the whole year, I was like "roger that!", but then I asked if I had to do it 1 or 2 days before...the guy that replied back said I would get an e-mail, if I wanted to renew follow the directions, otherwise, don't worry...so next thing I know is I get an e-mail being charged for $180 (one year) Inmediatly I cancelled the account but customer service did not want to refund my card. They claimed that the last e-mail was about the domain...what domain? I have none with them, I bought them all somewhere else! So to make it short, I had to go to my AMEX company and they refunded my card. This company is not what you would expect on the customer service side, things like this happens all the time and full refund are made even if their "policy" states the opposite... |
